Accrued Time Benefits
The Women's Lunch Place offers a generous sick and vacation time policy. Full-time employees receive 15 vacation days and 10 sick days. After two years of continuous employment, employees receive 20 days of vacation time.
Holiday Time
Women's Lunch Place, Inc. provides employees with 12 paid holidays per year and 2 personal days.
Health and Insurance Benefits
At Women's Lunch Place, Inc. we recognize that good insurance coverage is important for our employees and their families well being. We provide our employees with these paid benefits:
• Health Insurance - 90% premium coverage through Harvard Pilgrim Health Care for both individual and family plans.
• Dental Insurance - 100% premium coverage through Met Life for both individual and family plans. Some Vision coverage is also included.
• Short-term disability - 60% of regular compensation up to a maximum of $750.00 a week. Covers disability from day 31 to day 90.
• Long-term disability - 60% of regular compensation after 90 days
• Life Insurance up to $25,000.00
Retirement Savings Plan
All employees are encouraged to participate in our 403B plan. The Women's Lunch Place, Inc. matches up to 5% of an employee's annual salary. Full and part-time employees are eligible to participate. The amount of match is determined on an annual basis.
MBTA Pass/Parking reimbursement
MBTA and Commuter rail -passes available through The Women's Lunch Place in our pre-tax payroll deduction plan.
Flexible Benefit Plan
Women's Lunch Place, Inc. offers employees the opportunity to participate in the Flexible Benefits Plan. This plan enables employees to:
• pay for their share of health insurance premiums on a pre-tax basis ("Insurance Premium Assistance" and is done for you automatically if you receive your health insurance through WLP)
• set aside money on a pre-tax basis to be used for reimbursement of health care costs that are not covered by insurance ("Health Care Assistance"),
• set aside money on a pre-tax basis to be used for reimbursement of dependent care expenses ("Dependent Care Assistance").
