| Simmons College V-Day |
The Women's Lunch place is the chosen benefiting charity for Simmons College 2012 performance of the Vagina Monologues!
The award-winning play is based on V-Day Founder/playwright Eve Ensler's interviews with more than 200 women. With humor and grace the piece celebrates women's sexuality and strength. Through this play and the liberation of this one word, countless women throughout the world have taken control of their bodies and their lives. For more than twelve years, The Vagina Monologues has given voice to experiences and feelings not previously exposed in public.

Order 1 card for $10 or 3 cards for $25. We have 3 different designs available and you may choose any combination of 3 or more! Each flat card reads a different tagline and every card says "A heartfelt donation was made in your name to the Women's Lunch Place." Cards come with red envelopes.

Examiner.com presented a contest in November, asking its writers to produce an article about extraordinary individuals who are making a difference. Examiner writer, Susan Holaday, nominated Sharon Reilly, WLP Executive Director, for her leadership, service and passion for the mission of the Women's Lunch Place. Examiner.com judges narrowed down the nominees and we are happy to announce that Sharon is a Top 25 Finalist, listed among 4 others in the 'Leadership' category.

| 31 Nights of Light |
On Monday, December 26th don't forget to look up as you walk the wintery streets of Boston!!! The top of the tower of the Shops at Prudential Center will be shining yellow in support of the Women's Lunch Place. Since 2009, 31 Nights of Light has brought awareness to different nonprofit organizations during the month of December. |

| California Pizza Kitchen Flavorful FUNdraising Event |
Monday, December 26th, 2011 is a big day for the Women's Lunch Place at the Prudential Center. Not only will the top of the Pru shine a bright, beautiful yellow that night just for the Women's Lunch Place, but for the entire day, California Pizza Kitchen will be holding a flavorful FUNdraising event just for WLP too! 20% of your check will be donated to WLP if you present this flier (attached below to print), show them this page on your cell phone, or simply just mention the Women's Lunch Place when you pay. Purchases include dine-in, take-out, catering and all beverages! So head out for a post-holiday stroll on Monday 12/26 and pay tribute to the Women's Lunch Place at the Shops at Prudential Center! |

| Gift for Guests Program |
Every year WLP Guests sign up for our Gifts for Guests Program. Thanks to our generous supporters, right before Christmas we give our ladies a $25 gift card to their store of choice: Marshalls, Target, CVS, Stop&Shop, Shaws, or Walgreens. We are asking for your help again this year to donate gift cards in the amount of $25 to any of the mentioned stores above so that our guests can shop for their children for the holidays and/or purchase the daily staples that so many of us take for granted.
Please send gift cards to The Women's Lunch Place, P.O. Box 170900 Boston, MA 02117, attention Development. If you are unable to shop but would like to contribute to the program, you can mail your donation to our P.O. Box or donate online here and we will do the shopping for you. For online donations, please mark your donation reason as a "general" donation and write "Gifts for Guests" in the comments box at the bottom.

On Monday, November 28th and Wednesday, December 21st WLP volunteers will be wrapping gifts outside of Barnes and Noble located inside the Shops at the Prudential Center (straight up the stairs from the Cheesecake Factory). From 3pm - 10pm, no matter where you purchased your gifts, we will wrap them for you! Monetary donations accepted and all go to the Women's Lunch Place. |

| Tea'rrific Event at the Oak Room |
Stop by the legendary Oak Room at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel on Saturday, November 12th. The Oak Room bar will be serving various tea-infused cocktails starting after lunch and well into the evening. Teas from all around the world, including organic-certified teas, will be used to create tongue-pleasing drinks. A portion of the proceeds from these tea'riffic drinks will help support the Women's Lunch Place. |

| UMC Newton Community Meal |
Our friends at United Methodist Church of Newton will be hosting a "Community Meal" for WLP in mid October. Before our renovations took place, UMC Newton worked with our meal program to prepare and serve lunch to our Guests once a month, and they are back at it again and also wanting to help in more ways! We look forward to joining them at their Church in Newton for dinner in support and to raise awareness of WLP. |

Hood® Simply Smart® Milk has selected Sharon Reilly, Executive Director of The Women’s Lunch Place, as the recipient of the “Make a Difference, Taste a Difference” program for her dedication and hard work serving local Boston women in need. The Women’s Lunch Place is a non-profit that has provided food, shelter and services to homeless women in Boston for almost 30 years. For every coupon redeemed at www.BeSimplySmart.com, Simply Smart Milk donated 25 cents (up to $7,500) to Circle of Care and the other honored organizations. Tennis star Chrissie Evert will visit Women's Lunch Place to drop off the donation in early October! |

| Birdies for Charity - Deutsche Bank Championship |
How it works:
Donate $10.00 to the Women's Lunch Place and earn one "guess" at the total number of birdies that will be made by PGA TOUR Pros during the 2011 Deutsche Bank Championship. For each donation made to the Birdies for Charity Program, contestants will be entered into the Guess the Birdies Contest. Please note, there is no limit to the number of guesses each contestant can make; each separate guess will be a minimum of $10.00 per guess. Pledges will be accepted between now and Thursday, September 1st, 2011 at 5 PM. WLP will receive 100% of all paid pledges solicited specifically for WLP.
Guess correctly and you could win 1 of 2 incredible prizes!
One Grand Prize will be awarded to the person who guesses the exact number of birdies made during the four competition rounds. The Grand Prize Winner will win two season tickets for the Boston Red Sox 2012 Season at Fenway Park! One First Prize will be chosen by random drawing of all eligible participants. (Please note, the Grand Prize winner will not be entered into the random drawing for First Prize.) The First Prize winner will win 2 first class tickets on Delta Airlines anywhere in the continental U.S.
In addition: For each guess made to benefit the WLP, contestants will be entered into a separate drawing for a chance to win grounds passes to the Deutsche Bank Championship. You could win grounds passes good for 1 of the tournament days..
