Be a sponsor
Corporate sponsorship of a Women's Lunch Place event shows your commitment to fighting homelessness in the Boston area. The Women's Lunch Place hosts two signature events each year. Our upcoming signature event, Spaghetti Dinner, is scheduled for October 2008 followed by a spring event in May.
Purchase Mother's Day cards
In lieu of gifts and commercially produced greeting cards, send your mother your best wishes for a joyous Mother's Day in a very special way: purchase Women's Lunch Place Greeting Cards made by one of our guests in our weekly art classes.
Run a toiletry drive or host an event
In-kind donations from generous groups and individuals enable WLP to provide guests with daily necessities including toiletries, footware, and seasonal clothing. Many groups come into the shelter to cook and serve waffle breakfasts; other groups offer classes, and workshops, and other activities that enhance the quality of life for our guests. Please contact the Development Office at 617/267-1722 for more information regarding the best way for your group to getted involved.
Match your employees' gifts
Not only are matching gifts a great way for a company to show support of its employees, often the match can double or triple the amount of the gift. Please check with your human resources department to see if your company has a matching-gift program.
