Dignity is everything
Colleen Judge
Hello Friends!!! My name is Colleen Judge. I am 29 (well, roughly - ha-ha!!) a Bentley College and Northeastern University graduate and currently working as a certified public accountant at the exceptional firm of Vitale, Caturano & Company. I thrive on a challenge and spend my free time seeking adventures and new experiences. I love my friends and family like crazy...and enjoy every moment I can with them. I feel so grateful for all I have in life and am passionate about giving back to those less fortunate. One thing I am NOT: a long distance running diva!!
I preferred competing in anything called a "dash" in my high school and college track days but somewhere after that decided to take on the marathon distance and have since completed six. They never seem to get easier and I have questioned many times why I continue put myself through the rigors of training for four months (especially in Boston during the winter and tax season!!) and running a course longer then I care to drive - then I remind myself that the pain is only temporary and that my pride, cause and memories are forever.
I will run (or at times walk briskly) again this year for the challenge...for the adventure of training with amazing friends and for the opportunity to represent the Women's Lunch Place. WLP is an organization near and dear to my family; a place that for close to 20 years has provided a vast amount of support and a place to feel at home for two very special guests - my Nana (God rest her soul) and Aunt. For that, I am forever grateful to WLP. Nana, Janie and the entire WLP community are my inspiration and my reason.
Thank you for your support and encouragement. Go Team WLP!!!
